Dr. Dominick Hernandez was born in Guerrero, Mexico and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Sports injuries were all too familiar for him since he practiced martial arts and suffered a season-ending Football injury. He attended California State University, Northridge to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science after gaining inspiration rehabilitating his injuries and returning to play. Dr. Hernandez decided he wanted to do the same for other athletes and people in need.

Dr. Hernandez is Bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish; this allows him to better communicate with members of his community. He often recalls frequent visits to the neighborhood “Sobador” because that was all he had access to growing up. Attending Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree has allowed him to serve this underserved demographic. During his time at SCU, Dr. Hernandez was elected Associated Student Body Vice President and even won a beauty pageant. (Mr. SCU will show pictures as proof upon request). Working in rehab settings has made Dr. Hernandez a firm believer in that movement is the best medicine when dealing with pain.

When Dr. Hernandez is not working, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, mountain biking, weightlifting and trying new pizza places, (recommendations are appreciated). He is also collector of cool socks to pair with his addiction to sneakers.
